About Our Church
Celebrating 15 years of ministry in 2026Today, New Life Anglican Fellowship is a small, loving congregation committed to worship, Christian fellowship, pastoral care, and sharing the Gospel. Here, people are known by name, and there is always room for one more at the table.
Our story is one of simple, faithful beginnings.
- A church plant from GainesvilleOur congregation began as a church plant of Servants of Christ Anglican Church in Gainesville, Florida.
- Gathering in an officeWe first met in the offices of Rhodes Law Firm, under the leadership of our founding rector, Susan Rhodes.
- 2012: The Woman's ClubWe began meeting at the Woman's Club of Lake Placid, where we still gather for worship every Sunday.
Our Anglican Faith
Anglicans are Christians who worship in the ancient, historic way, centered on the Bible and on Jesus Christ. It is old and deep, and it is meant for everyday people.
Scripture
We listen to God's Word read aloud each week and trust it to shape our lives.
Jesus Christ
Our faith rests in Jesus: crucified, risen, and alive, the Savior who welcomes us home.
Prayer
Time-honored prayers, spoken together, give us words when our own run out.
The Sacraments
In Baptism and Holy Communion, Christ meets us with real, tangible grace.
